The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) investigated a three vehicle crash Friday afternoon around 1pm on IH-10 near MM 878.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates at approximately 12:30 p.m., a 2017 Chevrolet SUV was traveling east on IH-10 and failed to control speed and struck a 2008 GMC pickup from behind. The GMC pick then struck a 2016 Jeep from behind that was reportedly stopped due to other traffic.
The driver of the Chevrolet is identified as Matthew Walston, 27, from Jacksonville, TX. Walston and two passengers were not reportedly injured during the crash.
The driver of the GMC is identified as Darren Warren, 43, from Starks, LA. Warren was not injured during the crash.
The driver of the Jeep is identified as Joyce Crain, 61, from Huntington, TX. Crain was treated at the scene and released. Two passengers traveling with Crain were not reportedly injured.
