A Ford pickup truck hit the driver’s side of a Toyota Camry on Highway 62 South by the Pilot Truck Stop Wednesday morning.
The Texas Department of Public Safety reports that although the Toyota had significant damage, no one was injured in either vehicle.
DPS said the Camry and the pickup truck were traveling southbound on Highway 62. The Camry, driven by 86-year-old Curley Dabineaux of Orange, was in the outside lane. Dabineaux tried to make a U-turn and turned in front of the pickup, which was traveling in the inside lane. The pickup was driven by 50-year-old Kevin Burns, also of Orange.
