An accident Friday at the site of the new Golden Triangle Polymers plant in Orange claimed the life of a construction worker. She’s been identified as Yukiko Nakao, 29, of Port Arthur. The cause of the accident has not been announced.
The call came in around 10am from the site on Hwy. 87, across the street from the Orange County Airport.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is conducting the investigation and will give their information over to OSHA.
