Around 1pm over 1100 Entergy customers in Bridge City lost power after an accident between a vehicle and a utility pole.
A woman was driving a Honda on E. Roundbunch in the 200 block (about 800 ft from the Texas Ave. intersection) and for an unknown reason left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
First responders said she was out and walking around when they arrived. As of 5pm the power in the area was still out.
