The Orangefield Lady Bobcats defeated the Kirbyville Lady Wildcats tonight 4-1. Teal Kibodeaux got the win on the mound throwing a complete game giving up one earned run on 5 hits with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts.
Aubree Gamblin got the big hit when needed, and finished the game with a single, a double, a run scored, and 2 RBIs. Gamblin also had a fantastic night on defense. Hallee Becker had a great night at the plate with 2 singles, an RBI, and a run scored. Teal Kibodeaux had a single and a run scored.
The Lady Bobcats improve to 20-1 overall and 2-0 in district play.
The JV Lady Bobcats fell to Kirbyville 8-10 after grabbing an early lead. Paris Buesing had 2 singles and 2 runs scored. Sara McFatter had a single, an RBI and 2 runs scored. Abigail Stephenson had a double, a walk, a run scored and 2 RBIs. Peyton Vincent had a single and 2 RBIs. Maddi Breaux, Kamryn Kelley, and Addison Leblanc all had walks. Leblanc had a run scored. Breanna LaSalle had 2 RBIs and a run scored. Kayla Silvas had a run scored. The Lady Bobcats resume play this Friday against East Chambers with the JV beginning at 5:00 and the varsity at 6:30.

BC beat Tarkington 8-0 as SEVEN pitchers combined on the two hit shutout. Offensively the Cards had six hits including a double by Slade Landry.

LCM lost to Nederland 15-4
It was 8-4 when the Dogs exploded for 7 runs in the fifth. Bears had six hits, two each from Mason Istre and Jacob Scheiderer.
Before Tuesday’s home game, LCM recognized Coach Hagler for his 100th win.
