
Mary Alice Bouley was born August 4, 1936, and passed away February 11, 2026, at the age of 89.
Mary was the heart of her family, whose greatest joy came from the people she loved. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and comfort. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate her family’s milestones, offer wise counsel, or wrap someone in one of her unforgettable hugs.
A proud and dedicated nurse, Mary devoted her life to caring for others. Her compassion, strength, and steady presence touched countless patients and colleagues throughout her remarkable career. Nursing was not just her profession but her calling. She carried her commitment to service with grace and determination, continuing to work in the field she loved until the remarkable age of 80. Her work ethic and devotion were an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Beyond her career, she found happiness in the simple blessings of life, time spent with family, sharing stories around the table, and creating memories that will be treasured forever. She taught those around her the importance of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love.
She is survived by her children, Carlton Gregory Lopez, Gerald Paul Bouley, Michael Wayne Bouley, and Paula Bouley Bruner; and along with numerous members of family, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kerliss Paul Bouley; and numerous family members, and friends.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2026, at Dorman-Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 8808 Highway 87 North, Orange, Texas. Graveside service will be held at St. Mary Cemetery, 912 West Cherry Avenue, Orange, Texas.
