
The Life Mr. Charley L. Cameron of Orange will be celebrated during Memorial Services Monday, November 24, 2025, at 2pm at Sparrow Funeral Home.
Disposition is Cremation.
Charley Lynn Cameron was born on June 18, 1935, in Greenville, Mississippi to Mr. Essie Cameron and Mrs. Rosie Lee Pitts Cameron.
As a young man, he moved to Orange, Texas where he made his home for over seventy years.
Charley worked for Inland Orange Paper Mill as a machinist for 35 years before he retired.
Listening to music, with Bobby Blue Bland as his favorite artist and watching the Washington Redskins known as Washington Commanders today, was his way of enjoying life with his family.
Charley’s hobbies were collecting baseball Caps, doing woodwork, fixing on cars, and repairing houses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Kenneth Cameron, and his wife, Margaret Cameron.
On November 19, 2025, at the age of 90, Mr. Cameron passed away peacefully at Focus Care of Orange.
He leaves to forever cherish his memory, two sons, Ronald Cameron (Regina) and Keith Cameron (Tonya) both of Orange; four daughters, Pauline Cameron of Orange, Janie Hayes of Beaumont, Roseline Byrd (Ellis) of Orange and Marilyn Earnest (Pastor Ricky) of Beaumont; two brothers, L. V. Camble (Fleelina) of Port Arthur, Texas and Percy Campbell of Mishicot, Wisconsin. Also, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends are left to cherish his life.
