Ethan Majors, the former Vidor ISD Police Officer, who was arrested in November 2024 for having a relationship with a 12 year old girl, was sentenced last week.
In open sentencing, Judge Steve Parkhurst gave him 30 years on each of the two aggravated sexual assault charges and 10 years on each of the two counts of aggravated kidnapping. They will run concurrently. He’ll have to serve half before being eligible for parole.
During a two week period the married Majors would pick up the 12 year old who was sneaking out of the house and the 23 year old would take her to a casino in Louisiana where they would have sexual relations and then he would bring her home.
He was the assigned officer to the Vidor Middle School where he met the student.
Her mother would catch her coming back into the house and she told her everything that was going on. Authorities would then arrest and charge Majors.
Even though the girl went willingly, because she was under the age of 14 she cannot consent.
Majors would bond out but would be right back in jail after being arrested for DWI in December of 2024.
Orange County Justice of the Peace Prec. 1 Hershel Stagner, Jr. revoked Majors’ bond and he has been in jail ever since. He’s now awaiting his transfer to the prison in Huntsville.
