
Mavis Joyce Worsham, a wonderfully warm person, was born on July 31, 1930, in Litchville, North Dakota. She passed away on November 2, 2025, in Orange, Texas, where she made many cherished memories throughout her life.
Private services for Mavis will be held at a later date.
Mavis was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church in Orange, Texas. Her faith and community involvement were important aspects of her life. She had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought joy to her and those around her. Mavis enjoyed sewing, gardening, and making porcelain dolls. She loved camping and traveling, which provided her with many delightful experiences. Additionally, Mavis had a passion for cooking and took great pleasure in preparing holiday events for her family, creating lasting traditions and memories.
Mavis is survived by her beloved daughters, Karen Wickham and husband, Karl, and Kathy Carmona and husband, Marcos. She is also survived by her son, David Worsham and wife, Amy. Mavis was the proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and had the joy of nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Darlene Swiontek and Diane Otterson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Worsham, with whom she shared sixty wonderful years. Mavis was also welcomed in heaven by her parents, Richard and Effie Eilts, her sister, Arla Triepke, and her twin sister, Marlis Willey. Her legacy of love will continue through her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
