The Celebration of Life for Mr. Larry P. Pate,68, of Beaumont, TX, will be held during Visitation Services, Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10 am until 12 Noon at Sparrow Funeral Home.
Additional Visitation Services will be held Thursday, November 6th at 11am at Peoples Undertaking Company in Canton, MS. Rites of Christian Burial will follow at Onisha Burkes Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Canton.
Larry Pressley Pate was born April 16, 1957, in Canton, MS to Mary (Lee) Pate and L.C. Pate. He passed October 21st at his residence.
Residing in Southeast Texas a number of years, he attended the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church when in Orange.
A self-employed Hot Shot Truck Driver, he loved fishing and motorcycle riding.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Pate and sons Kinte Washington (Ida) and Donte Washington (Lauren), all of Orange, daughter, Lydell Tucker of Chicago, IL, brothers, Lonnie Pate of Conroe, TX and L.C. Pate of Los Angeles, CA, sisters, Kathy Pate of Los Angeles, Gloria Carter (Greg) of McDonough, GA and Linda Fleming of Canton and 6 grandchildren.
