It was worth the wait as the Bridge City Marching Band performed twice and then had to wait until 10:30pm to find out they have qualified for the State Marching Contest at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
They competed against 20 other 4A schools including LCM, Jasper and Lumberton in Longview. They performed at 2pm and qualified with Lumberton for the Top 12 Finals.
Then their night performance was at 9:15pm…and then, the wait. The Top 6 will compete in San Antonio on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Tami Estes is the Cardinals Band Director.
