
With heavy hearts, we gather to remember the beautiful light that was Asher Rian Gerstner, who graced this world with his presence for a brief but radiant time. Born on June 9, 2025 and passed away on October 4, 2025, Asher captured the spirits of everyone around him with his infectious smile and snuggly nature. His warmth was magnetic, and he thrived in the comfort of being held tight by those who loved him.
Asher’s time with us, though short, was brightened by the profound bond he shared with his siblings. His sister Mila, his inseparable best friend, brought joy and laughter into his life, filling their days with adventures of imagination and play. They formed a connection that spoke of innocence and love, a friendship that would remain cherished in the hearts of all who knew them.
Known for his delightful fascination with watching his dad engage in thrilling video games, Asher found joy in the simplest moments spent alongside his loving family. He approached every day with a spirit of curiosity and wonder that inspired those around him to appreciate the little things in life.
Though the pain of his loss is profound, we find solace in remembering the happiness that Asher brought into our lives. He was a remarkable little soul whose spirit would illuminate even the darkest of days. As we honor his memory, we hold tight to the love that will forever unite us, ensuring that Asher will always be a cherished part of our hearts and family.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy Redwine, Leondias Redwine II, and Steven Gerstner.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Mary Redwine and Justin Gerstner; siblings, Brooklyn Redwine, McKenzie Ward, Connely Behrens, Silas Gerstner, Liam Gerstner, Sebastian Gerstner, Alex Gerstner, Theo Gerstner, Oliver Gerstner, and Mila Gerstner; his grandmothers, Colleen Fox, and Debbie Arnett; his uncle, Justin Fox; his aunt, Heather Kellams; and his great-aunts, Joyce Peterson, and Mary Rouse and husband Joe; along with numerous other loving family.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 13, 2025, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 12, 2025, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange, with a Vigil to start at 6:00 p.m., and a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
