Marvis Lee Johnson, 71, of Orange, Texas, departed this life on Friday, October 3, 2025.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Church.
Marvis’s love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Denise Johnson; daughter, Elisha Smith (Jordan); sons, Dersedrick Simmons (Cristiane), and Mark Roberts (Katrina); sister, Peggy Boome; brothers, David King (Florence), Leroy King, and David Silk; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; special sister-in-law, Detra King; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
