The City of Vidor is wanting the public’s help in renaming Conn Park. You can click the link below to cast your vote.
In a statement the city said, “In the early 1980’s Mr. C. W. Conn and his wife Dorothy Anne donated the pool and land to the Chamber and the City to be developed as a park for the children in the community. The development has been delayed due to the flooding which has occurred over the years. It has been a desire for those who have been taxed with the development for years to see this come about. With the work that has been done in the last 20 years, and future growth plans we would like to give the park area an official name to reflect the City’s portion of that work.”
