The Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from a concerned parent that a child was receiving inappropriate text messages from an adult. The complaint was assigned to a deputy specialized in sexual assault investigations. The deputy collected evidence that revealed a digital conversation where the minor was solicited for sex.
The suspected solicitor was identified as Sethan Beital, age 38. The deputy presented the investigation to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. After Beital was indicted by an Orange County Grand Jury, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Beital was arrested on 09-12-2025 and transported to the Orange County Jail where he was charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor, Sexual Conduct, a Second-Degree Felony.
