One trailer was destroyed by fire and two others were damaged late Thursday night in the McLewis area.
The call came in to OCESD #4 just before midnight and they arrived to find a trailer fully engulfed on Med Davis Road which is off of I-10 just west of the Hwy. 62 intersection.
Firefighters battled flames and several propane bottles exploding while also trying to protect the homes on both sides of the trailer on fire.
No one was home at the trailer that burned and neighbors were able to wake a man that was in the trailer next to it and he got out safely. But his trailer and the trailer on the other side did receive heavy damage.
