
Joyce Elaine Craig Jackson, 85, of Spring, Texas, died on August 31, 2025, after suffering with long term dementia.
Joyce Elaine was born in Los Angles, California, on January 14, 1940 to Janet Pollock Craig, and Benjamin Jonathan Craig, and was the second born of three Craig daughters. Joyce attended various schools in California, prior to the family’s move to Orange Texas, where she graduated from Lutcher Stark High School in 1958. She went on to attend business school at the urging of her father, and jumped into the workforce working for Exxon after marriage, and the birth of her children, until her retirement.
Joyce Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Janet Pollock Craig, B. J. (Bob) Craig, and her beloved husband Felton (Hank) Jackson, his parents Louise Jackson and McKinney Jackson, brother-in-law Charles “Smice” Smaistrla, and nephew Ben Smaistrla. She is survived by her cherished sisters, Jean Craig Smaistrla and Susan Craig Rogers (Carl), her children Craig M. Jackson (Sandy), Janet J. Maass (Clinton), her beautiful grandchildren Clinton Maass (Mindy), Cassy Utz (Ashley), Ryan Utz (Stephanie), Kaeleigh Keeney (Kaleb), and Madison Maass (Aaron), and great grandchildren Hunter Maass, Wyatt Utz, and Kimber Keeney. She dearly treasured her niece and nephews, Amy Plaskota (Robert), Shane Rogers (Lea), John Smaistrla, and Brannon Rogers, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held on September 27,2025 at 2:00 o’clock pm, at the Klein Memorial Park 9714 FM 2920, Tomball, Texas 77375.
