Thursday the Orangefield JV football team took a long bus ride to compete against the New Waverly bulldogs. It did not take long after getting off the bus to get the victory underway, when on the opening play from scrimmage Case Comeaux picked up a fumble and returned it for the first score of the game. Hunter Block and Dacius Lytle would add two more scores on the night. While the Bobcat defense would play tough good football all game with multiple turnovers. Including an interception by Mikey Lecea that would seal a hard fought 21 to 13 win for the Bobcats. The JV will be at Bridge City next Thursday.
