The West Orange Fire Dept. was called to 1209 Delano St. for a house fire Thursday evening.
The vacant home suffered severe damage. WO Chief David Roberts said someone was burning debris in the back of the home and it got out of control.
WOFD received assistance from Orange, Bridge City and Little Cypress departments.
No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
