High school varsity football players get to hit somebody other than a teammate this week as scrimmages begin Thursday.

Friday, August 15th the LCM vs Orangefield Scrimmage will be a THSCA “Our Day to Shine” event. We are asking all families to donate at least $1 to the THSCEF Benevolence Fund.
This day has become known as OUR DAY TO SHINE. The THSCEF Benevolence fund was established by the Texas High School Coaches Association Board of Directors to assist athletes and coaches experiencing hardships. To date over 1,165 schools have participated in OUR DAY TO SHINE and have raised over $721,000.00. The THSCEF has paid over $641,000.00 to athletes and coaches in need.
Last year LCM and PNG were able to raise over $700 during the scrimmage that went directly to the TSSCEF Benevolence Fund. All donations are welcome!!!
