Born in Orange, Texas, on July 10, 1931, he was the son of Osvald Guillot and Eda Mae Bourke Guillot. Norbert leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and commitment to family and community. A proud graduate of Stark High School in 1949, Norbert embraced education as a vital component of life. He dedicated 37 years of his professional journey as an Operator at Spencer, Gulf, and Chevron, where his hard work and perseverance rendered him a valued member of the industry. Norbert’s life was characterized not just by his career achievements, but also by his dedication to his family. A true provider and patriarch, he made sacrifices to ensure that his children had access to opportunities that he himself did not have. His commitment to their well-being and success was unparalleled, and he took great pride in their accomplishments. Beyond his professional and familial duties, Norbert served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War, a testament to his character and sense of duty. He remained actively engaged in his community, offering his support at the CERA and participating in the St. Mary’s Festival. Norbert’s interests were as varied as they were passionate. In his younger years, he cultivated a love for gardening, nurturing plants with the same care that he offered his family.
