
Robert Earl Lash III, 72, of Groves, Texas, passed away on July 10, 2025, at Magnolia Manor in Groves.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Father Sinclair Oubre of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church of Orange. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn in West Orange.
Visitation will begin prior to the service at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2025, at Claybar funeral Home in Orange with a Rosary to begin at 1:30 p.m.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on May 26, 1953, he was the son of Robert Earl Lash II and Grace (Boeckem) Lash. He was a Godly man who lived his life with purpose and conviction. Robert proudly served his county in the United States Navy. His commitment to service did not end there; he later spent time in seminary, pursuing his dream of becoming a priest, and this was one of his proudest accomplishments. In addition to his military service and religious aspirations, Robert was a member of the American Legion, where he found camaraderie and a sense of community. Robert will be remembered for his kindness, faith, and dedication. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Robert Lash II; wife, Christine Lash; and brothers, Richard and James Lash.
