Michael Wayne Buntyn, age 53, of Hartburg, Texas, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at his residence, after a lengthy illness. The family is honoring Michael’s final wishes, to be cremated, with no services to follow.
Michael was born to parents Wayne and Carolyn Buntyn, in Beaumont, Texas, on Wednesday, November 3, 1971. He was raised in Hartburg, Texas, and attended the Deweyville schools, where he graduated from. He always brought a quick smile and a sweet calming presence to any place he went. Michael was the one that a friend could rely on, tell their secrets to and always count on to have their backs. His quick wit, caring empathy and laugh will be forever treasured and cherished by all that knew and loved him.
Preceding Michael in death are his parents, Wayne and Carolyn Bunton and grandparents, Virgil and Ruth Hutson and Beth Buntyn.
Those left to cherish the touch left on our lives by Michael are his aunts Patsy LeDoux and Sharon Hutson; a host of cousins and his special friends Clarence Tomkins and Edwin Peveto.
Fly high on those angels wings that you have earned and deserve! You will be deeply missed!!
