The Celebration of Life for Ms. Barkisha L. Cotton, 32, of Orange will be Saturday, June 21st, 2025, at 11am at the El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home. Visitation be from 9 until 11am. Rites of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Baptist Church Cemetery in Frogmore, LA.
Barkisha La’Kay Cotton was born to Virginia (Reed) Cotton and Bobby Cotton, Monday, April 12th , 1993 in Orange, TX.
A graduate of West Orange-Stark High School, she attended Houston Christian University and was employed as a telemarketer by Rentokil Terminix.
A member of the El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, she was a member of the Pastor’s Aide and a youth Sunday School Teacher.
She passed Saturday, June 7th.
Preceded in death by her mother Virginia, she is survived by her father, Bobby Cotton, brothers, Bobby Cotton and Robert Cotton (Melissa), sisters, Carolyn Cotton, Mary Cotton, and Latisha Simien (Carlton), all of Orange, and a host of other relatives and friends.
