UPDATE: officers located a deceased male, identified as 75-year-old Thomas Widdifield, a white male resident.
Orange Police were called around 1pm to someone finding a body in the backyard of a home Wednesday.
OPD arrived at a home in the 1600 block of 10th St. where they found a white male. He was pronounced deceased by Judge Stagner and an autopsy was ordered.
A neighbor who found him said it was the man that lived at the home. It is unknown how long he had been there. His name was not released at the time, pending next of kin.
