Emily F. Beard, age 77, of Mauriceville, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. A service honoring Emily will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Dorman Funeral Home. Visitation of family and friends will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 at Dorman Funeral Home, prior to service. Interment will be held at Trout Creek Cemetery following services.
Faye was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on Tuesday, September 9, 1947, to parents Ad Warless Buie and Letha Mae Buie.
Faye was retired and lived her life loving and serving Jesus and helping others. She lived in Mauriceville, Texas the past 47 years of her life. Faye worked at Burton Grocery Store, Orange Casket Company, Orchard Cleaners and Home Health of SE Tx. She attended Faith Harbor Church in Port Arthur, Texas and devoted her life to Jesus. She was a shining light to some and an angel in disguise to others. She was one of the most loving, giving and kindest people you would ever meet and no one was ever a stranger to her. She loved reading her Bible talking about the Lord over a cup pf coffee and spending her time in prayer and worship to our Lord Jesus Christ. She was a devoted and cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Faye was preceded in death by her father, Ad Warless Buie; mother, Letha Mae Buie and brother Monk Buie.
Those left to cherish Faye’s memory are her husband of 54 years, Ronnie Beard of Mauriceville, Texas; daughter, Renee Beard, of Call, Texas; sons, Eddie Resha of Mauriceville, Texas; Devon Beard of Vidor Texas.; Grandchildren, Kristyn Porter, Derrick Barron, Colten Beard, Chyenne (Barron) Anderson; Great Grandchildren Casyn Porter, Masyn Porter, Grasyn Porter, Easton Barron, Weston Barron, and Aurora Anderson.
There will be a dinner provided for close friends and family after the graveside service.
