
Terrance (Terry) Michael Hain passed away unexpectedly on the 25th of May 2025, at the age of 57, in his home in Baytown, TX. He was born on July 22, 1967, in Erie, PA, and lived in the Beaumont, TX area for most of his adult life.
Terry graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL, in 1985. He attended Florida State University, where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity where he made many lifelong friends. Terry started his career in restaurant management where he created a fun environment for all his cherished coworkers. Terry then went on to have a successful career in chemical sales.
Terry was a devoted father to his three young adult children, whom he cherished. He was an avid fan of Florida State football and loved to golf, cook, and participate in game nights with his children. He was a long-term member of Wesley Methodist church in Beaumont, Tx and had just begun volunteering locally.
Known for his silly and endearing sense of humor, Terry was a bit of a prankster, always trying to make people laugh. His memorable chuckle will forever be missed.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. Donald Hain and Mrs. Carol (Becker) Hain of Summerville, SC; his children, Alexander, Jacob, and Cora Hain of Vidor, TX; his sisters, Kathy Hain-de Jong of Winston-Salem, NC, and Natalie Mulligan and her husband Jay Mulligan of San Francisco, CA; nieces Ella Mulligan of San Francisco, CA, Mia and Brooke de Jong of Winston-Salem, NC; and nephews Donovan (Kelly) Perkins of Charlotte, NC, and Jack Mulligan of Orange County, CA. He is also survived by his aunt, Ginny (Greg) Down of Erie, PA, his uncle, Harry (Kathy) Becker of Sarasota, FL, and six cousins.
Terry is preceded in death by his grandparents: Mr. Edwin Michael Hain, Mrs. Elizabeth (Mangold) Hain, Mr. Clarence Becker, Ms. Mary (Sandusky) Schneider, all of Erie, PA.
A memorial service will be held at a future date in Vidor, Texas for all family and friends to celebrate his life.
