Winston “Dubaby” Cotton, 75, of Orange, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at St. Paul C.M.E. Church (1201 North 4th Street, Orange, Texas). Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with services beginning at 11:00 a.m.Reverend Gary Chalk will officiate.
Winston, affectionately known as “Dubaby,” was a hardworking man who loved life. A devoted fan of the West Orange-Stark Mustangs, Houston Texans, and Houston Rockets, he found joy in cheering on his favorite teams. He especially enjoyed good food, laughter, and spending time with his family.
Winston was preceded in death by his mother, Victoria Stacker; his parents, Elijah and Juanita Cotton; his sisters, Rhonda Roberson, Diane Stacker, and Barbra Stacker; and his brothers, Elijah Cotton, George Cotton, and William Grayson.
He is survived by his sisters Claudine Mouton (Whitney), Corine Cotton-Wills (Knogs), Karen Holman (Randy), Flora Hawkins, and Marilyn Keller (Ronald); and by his brothers Parnell Stacker (Ann), Evan Stacker (Blanche), and Robbie Hawkins.
Winston leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss his presence, laughter, and love.
