West Orange-Stark High School proudly announces the Class of 2025 Valedictorian and Salutatorian: Emonie Perkins and London Stroud.
Valedictorian Emonie Perkins is Patrick Perkins’s daughter. A dedicated and high-achieving student, Emonie is an Early College High School graduate who will receive her Associate of Arts degree and EMT certification through Lamar State College-Orange. She is a member of the National Honor Society and serves as the Director of the Media Team. Emonie will attend Sam Houston State University this fall, where she plans to major in Nursing.
Salutatorian London Stroud is the daughter of Chad and Latricia Stroud. Also an Early College High School graduate, London will earn her Associate of Arts degree from Lamar State College-Orange. She is an active member of the National Honor Society and serves as the Treasurer of Student Council. London is a well-rounded student-athlete, participating in Golf, Powerlifting, and Softball, and has been involved in dance for the past 15 years. She will attend The University of Texas at Austin, where she plans to major in Kinesiology.
Principal and district officials commend Emonie and London for their dedication, academic excellence, and leadership. Their achievements exemplify the Mustang spirit of perseverance and pride.
