The Celebration of Life for Mr. Christopher R. Taylor, 43 of Orange, will be held during Memorial Services Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Starlight Church of God In Christ at 11am under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Christopher Robert Taylor was the son of Vernell Taylor and Robert Mims, born August 11, 1981, in Orange, Texas.
He passed May 2, 2025, at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX.
“Coach,” as many called him operated his own training center, Trainfast Personal Training.
A 2001 graduate of West Orange-Stark High School, he was a member of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his mother, Vernell Taylor of Orange, son, Tarig Hudson of Orange, and sisters Angel Knox (Rev. Claude Jeffery “Jeff”) of Humble, TX and Tiffanie Richard (Bishop Raymont) of McKinney, TX.
