TxDOT will be closing IH-10 eastbound and westbound at Laurel Avenue for the Maury Meyers bridge demolition. Traffic will be diverted to the frontage roads beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 2 until 5 a.m. on Monday, May 5.
Drivers can expect heavy delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
