Ashley Leigh Chandler Sanders, 47, went the be with the Lord and Savior April 27, 2025, in League City, Texas.
Funeral service will be 2:00 Wednesday, April 30, at Central Baptist Church in Kirbyville with burial at Kirbyville Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday prior to services.
She was born on October 6, 1977, in Port Arthur, Texas.
Ashley was a 1996 graduate of Bridge City High School and 2002 graduate of Lamar University. She was employed at West Orange Stark Elementary School in Orange, Texas.
Her passion for reading led to her desire for her First Graders to be empowered by books. She loved each student deeply. Her co-workers were dear to her heart with a family-like bond.
If you knew Ashley, you know her love of coffee, caps, T-Shirts, crawfish, Buc-ees, and Disney. She dearly loved her nine-year-old fur-baby, Zelda.
Ashley is survived by parents, Judy and David Chandler of Pineland, Texas. She was blessed with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including Jeremy Sanders and family and special friend, Tony Bray and family.
