A male driver and a female passenger are in the hospital following an accident Sunday evening around 8:20pm.
According to authorities at the scene a mid-county man in a Toyota Tundra was driving westbound on I-10 and attempted to take the Hwy. 62 exit and lost control, just missing a telephone pole and striking a fence.
The man had to be cut out of the truck but was talking at the scene. His female passenger suffered a few more injuries. Both were taken to the hospital to be treated.
The case is under investigation.
