On Saturday the LCM Lady Bears completed the sweep of Lufkin Hudson, winning 11-2 in Jasper.
After winning Game One in the circle, senior Ella Stephenson lead at the plate in Gm. 2 with TWO homeruns and five RBI’s.
Lexis Moss had a HR. Kinsley Doucet had two hits and Tess Erickson had two hits, including a HR and was the winning pitcher, holding the Lady Hornets to 2 runs on 6 hits with 3K’s.
The Lady Bears will play Livingston in the second round. Game 1 is Wednesday at Lamar at 6:30pm with Gms 2 & 3 at Cleveland HS on Friday beginning at 5:30pm.
