The All-KOGT Basketball Team features some talented individuals who had outstanding seasons and a team that almost gave Orange County its first representation in the State Tournament in 20 years.
The BC Lady Cards, lead by a group of talented freshman, reached the semifinal game and with almost everyone back, big things will be expected from them next season and we can’t wait. They’re lead by our Coach of the Year Larry Sterling.
For the boys, we had three teams make the postseason. Bridge City reached the second round and were two points away from reaching the third as they gave perennial playoff team, Houston Yates, all they could handle. It was a great season for first year coach Andrew Daspit, who is our Coach of the Year.
Congratulations to all that made the team. Special shoutout to our MVP’s Keylie Washburn and Aaden Bush who are both great on and off the court.
