The Celebration of Life for Mr. Claude E. Jeter, 77, of Orange, will be Saturday, Marc 29, 2025 at 12 Noon at the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Rites of Christian Burial will follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10am until 12 Noon.
Claude Edward Jeter was born Tuesday, the 4th day of November 1947, in Orange, Texas to Annie Bell (Bellard) Jeter and Zack Henry Jeter.
He passed Wednesday, the 19th day of March 2025 at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston, Texas.
A lifelong member of the Mount Zion Church, he was an Usher and a member of the Board of Trustees.
A 1966 graduate of M.B. North High School, he furthered his education at Prairie View A & M University.
After 40 years of service, he retired as an Operator from Inland Orange Industries.
Cherishing his memory are one daughter, Courtney Elaine Jeter of Orange, two sisters, Carol Harris of Missouri City, TX and Judy Maul of Fannett, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
