Recently the Garlyn Place held a groundbreaking and ribbon cutting for its new location at 905 Old Hwy. 90 in Vidor.
Garlyn Place is a non-profit organization located in Orange County that empowers adults with developmental disabilities to connect with others and build a sense of belonging by providing transition, independence, and vocational opportunities.
The 106 acres of land that will be home to the new facility was made possible because of a donation by The Houseman Companies.
