
The Celebration of Life for Mr. Joseph Brunell LeBlanc, 86, of Orange, will be Friday, March 7, 2025, at 10 am at St. Therese Catholic Church under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9am until 9:30am. Rosary will be prayed at 9:30am.
Disposition will be Cremains interment at Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Joseph Brunell LeBlanc was born August 8, 1938, in Lawtell, St. Landry Parish, Louisianna, to Joseph LeBlanc and Viola Simien LeBlanc. He passed February 23, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas.
He was baptized at Saint Bridet’s Catholic Church on September 10, 1938.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph LeBlanc and mother Viola LeBlanc, his loving wife of 56 years whom he loved and adored and called his “Queen”, Zenobia LeBlanc, a devoted nephew, Fernandez (Stephanie-Sissy) Taylor, and a dear cousin, Patricia LeBlanc Wilkes.
He is survived by his sister, Marina Taylor, Godson, Devon (Linda) LeBlanc, two daughters, Sarah Lott of Chattanooga, TN and Mable Rhodes of Orange, a granddaughter, Dimitria Dority, who he affectionately called “his buddy,” and a host of other family members.
“Brunell” was a lifelong member of the St. Therese Catholic Church of Orange.
He retired from the Stark Foundation in 1995 after 39 years of service.
He loved working and creating things from wood and he excelled in inventiveness, artistic productions, genius and perfection.
