
Glenda Robbie Champagne, a longtime resident of Beaumont who spent the last decade in Vidor, passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on February 21, 2025 at Vidor Health and Rehab.
Glenda dedicated over 40 years of her life working for Gulf States Utility before retiring. She was a woman of strong faith who loved reading her Bible and cherished the time spent with her family. She found joy in crocheting, working on crossword puzzles, and never turned down a good game of bingo.
She is survived by her step-children: Richard Champagne and wife Carol of Clarksville, TN, Robert Champagne and wife Judy of Long Island, NY, Ryan Champagne and wife Melinda of Vidor, TX, and Randall Champagne and wife Shelley of Orange, TX. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.
Glenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roland Champagne Sr.; her son, Stanley Milner; her step-son, Roland Champagne Jr.; three brothers, Bill, Mack, and Dub Hickman; and three sisters, Carolyn Johnson, Elaine Warren, and Emogene Miller.
The family will have a graveside service to celebrate Glenda’s life on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Fillmore Cemetery in Haughton, LA.
Glenda’s kindness, love, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
