Ethan Doyle Hinds, Jr., 66, of Orange, Texas, passed away on February 12, 2025, in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Barry Bradley. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Groves, Texas, on September 25, 1958, he was the son of Ethan Doyle Hinds, Sr. and Angelina Romero Hinds. He was a remarkable individual whose legacy will be cherished by all who had the privilege to know him.
Doyle dedicated his career as Vice President at A1 American Fence, where he demonstrated an unwavering work ethic and commitment to excellence. From a young boy, Doyle embraced the value of hard work, and this characteristic remained a hallmark throughout his life. Outside of his professional pursuits, Doyle had a variety of passions that enriched his life. He had a profound appreciation for travel and found immense joy in embarking on cruises to explore new destinations. Fishing was another cherished activity, offering him moments of tranquility and connection with nature. His interest in real estate showcased his adventurous spirit and keen sense of opportunity. Doyle also had a deep love for his dogs, demonstrating his compassionate nature. His fondness for antique cars reflected his appreciation for history and craftsmanship. Doyle also enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. Throughout his life, he embodied kindness and generosity, consistently offering his help and support to those in need. His charitable spirit touched the lives of many. As we remember Doyle, we celebrate a life well-lived, characterized by hard work, kindness, and a genuine love for life, family, and others. He will be deeply missed by all, but his extraordinary spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ethan Doyle Hinds, Sr.; his brother, Darren Hinds; and his sister-in-law, Anita Hinds.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Janis Hinds; his mother, Ann Hinds; his sons, Dr. Derek Hinds, and Dr. Ethan Hinds III; his daughter, Kristi Hinds; his brothers, David Hinds, Sr. and wife, Pam, and Richard Hinds and wife, Bree; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robbie Hoover, Brent Soileau, Teddy Breaux, Paul Oliver, David Hinds, Jr., and Marcus Lalonde II.
