An Orange County matchup between LCM and Vidor Tuesday saw the Pirates take home the road win 54-37. A close game at the half, Vidor scored the first 11 points in the third to open it up. Bryce Loftin went off for 28 after not scoring in the first quarter. He had six 3-pointers. Eric Baker scored all nine of his points in the fourth. Colton Callahan had 4. Braylon Lewis scored 14 for the Bears.

Orangefield cut a 17 point East Chambers (9-1) lead down to three in the final minute, but the Bucs hit their free throws for a 79-70 win. Carson Gonzalez had 20 for OF (7-3). Jaden Scales had 16 and six assists.

Bridge City whipped Lumberton 68-47. Aaden Bush led the way with 18 pts, Jagger Carlin with 15, Abraham Munguia with 11 and Braydon Denison with 10. It was a clean sweep over the Raiders with wins by BC Freshman and JV.

Deweyville lost a tough one to Danbury 40-31. Kamen Collins had 11, Lane Gray 9 and Kallel Crooks 6 for the Pirates.

GIRLS
The Lady Bears traveled to Vidor and won 60-42. Maya Meadows led the offense with 16 points, followed by teammates Mallory Russell and Keylie Washburn with 12 points each. The JV got the night started defeating the Lady Pirates 42-29. The Lady Bears will be at home on Friday for Senior Night to take on the Lumberton Lady Raiders.

The BC Lady Cards beat Lumberton 57-44. High point: Mia Sterling (15) Rebounds: Whitney Cunningham & Kennedy Campbell (5 each) Assists: Kennedy Campbell (6). The Lady Cards will play Silsbee at home this Friday. The JV Lady Cards finished the season with a win and a 25-0 record.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats dominated East Chambers Lady Buccaneers 56-25. Mikayla Locke led the night with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 steals. Rebecca Durbin had 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Finally, Madison McCormack had 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. This puts the Varsity Lady Bobcats district record to 10-2 with only two games left in regular season. This Friday will be senior night for the Lady Bobcats against the Buna Lady Cougars. The JV Lady Bobcats unfortunately lost with the final 26-14. Paxton Oldham has 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals. Nicole Gay also had 6 points and 6 rebounds.

MONDAY
The CCS Lions defeated the Veritas Lions 65-51. Noah Smith (16 points & 7 rebounds), Will Kratzer (14 points & 5 steals), Ben Samuel (14 points, 6 assists & 5 steals), Levi Hinton (10 points), and Levi Samuel (8 points & 5 rebounds). CCS will play at Erhart Academy in Beaumont on Friday.
