Randy Spurlock, age 64, of Orange, Texas, was called home to his savior on Friday, January 17, 2025, after passing away at his home. A private service will take place to honor Randy and his passing. Arrangements were made under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.
On November 13, 1960, Randy was born to Columbus D. Spurlock Jr. and Geneva Roy Spurlock, in Orange, Texas, he spent his early years growing up in Riverside. He was a pipefitter by trade but, he spent the majority of his career as a mechanic. He loved to watch TV in his down time. Some of his favorite shows to watch were The Flintstones, Nascar, and any other type of sport you could imagine. He was also an avid hobbyist who enjoyed trying new things. Some of his hobbies included roping, shooting pool, fishing, and working on various things from forklifts to tractors to automobiles. His most prized possession was his tools. He could fix anything, a special talent he shared with his son. If you knew Randy, and many people did, then he had probably worked on something for you. He was often putting others before himself and wanted to help others in any way he could. He had a unique dark sense of humor that he passed on to his beloved daughter; they shared many laughs together that others could never understand.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Connie Sue Pinell.
Those left to cherish Randy’s memory are, his two children, Kaine Spurlock and Hannah Spurlock, his siblings, Robert Fox (Virginia), Dianne LaFleur (Robert), Donald Spurlock (Arlene), Sherrie Roberts (Tommy), nephew and Godson, Tommy Dean Roberts (Krystal), Nieces, Charlene Pinell, Melynda Fox, Kimberly Fox, and Tiffany Daville (Keaghon), his grandchildren, Broden Spurlock, Brynlee Spurlock, and Beaux Spurlock, His great nephews, Michael, Phoenix, Thor, Steyle, Dallas and Mayce, and His great nieces, Geneva, Kéylee, Mackenzi, Allissa, Kya, and Hollie, and last but not least, his granddog Sammy.
We want to give special thanks to our dad’s siblings; they all dedicated their life to caring for and protecting their baby brother. Especially his sister, Sherrie, she was truly her brother’s keeper and we can’t thank her enough for everything she did for him. He loved you all dearly even when he didn’t say it.
