WOS took their first lead on the last bucket of the game, a banked in three from Braylon Solomon, to beat Bridge City 46-44 Tuesday in the Mustangs district opener.
Solomon and JaMikael Davis (above) scored 11 each and Miketavion Davis lead WOS with 14. Aaden Bush lead BC with 23 and Abraham Munguia (below) had 16.

Rebecca Durbin led the game with 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist. Olivia Smith had a great night with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 charge. Finally, Brooklyn Wagoner had 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals.
The JV got their first district win with the final being 33-12. Ava Josephson led the night with 23 points, 15 steals, and 7 rebounds. Paxton Oldham had 4 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist. Kenley Copeland, Nicole Gay, and Aspen Babin each had 2 points. The Lady Bobcats are 2-1 in district and they look to get another win this Friday against the Kirbyville Lady Wildcats at Kirbyville. JV will play at 4:30 and varsity to follow.
