Congratulations to the young men named below who not only played on the field but performed well in the classroom. They have been named to the Texas High School Coaches Academic All-State Team.
To be nominated for Academic All-State, a student must be:
· An athlete, student trainer or manager in good standing with the team
· Of good moral character
· A senior
· Have an overall grade point average of 92 or above (including courses from grades 9-11 and courses completed from grade 12). Weighted GPAs accepted. All GPA’s must be numerical on a 100 point scale (92-100).
Players can earn a selection as ELITE, First Team, Second Team or Honorable Mention.
