The NFL recently announced the 25 semi-finalists for the Class of 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame and Earl Thomas of Orange made the list. The list started with 167 nominees and the selection process will continue as the modern-era players are further reduced to a list of 15 finalists, which will be announced in December.
Thomas expects to get the call. “I should be a first ballot Hall of Famer,” he said in a recent interview. Thomas went on to say he was better than Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu who are both in the Hall. Thomas played nine seasons with Seattle and one with Baltimore.
Ultimately, 20 finalists, including those selected from the coaching and contributor categories, will be reviewed during the selection committee’s annual meeting.
