Mary H. Jackson, 98, of Vidor, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. Born and raised in Port Arthur, Mary later made Vidor her home, where she was a beloved member of the community for many years.
A devoted homemaker, Mary cherished her role as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a dedicated member of Orange First Church of the Nazarene, where she found joy in fellowship, especially through her visits with the Joy Club. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, often creating cherished memories over card games and dominoes, activities she enjoyed immensely.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Williamson of Port Arthur, TX; her son, Mark Jackson and his wife Teresa of Vidor, TX; her four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Jackson Sr.; her infant son, Robert L. Jackson Jr.; and her brother, Edward Otho Hagans.
Mary’s kind heart, love of family, and unwavering faith will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
