At approximately 8:00pm, there was a motorcycle crash on FM 1004 near CR 3089 in Newton County. A 1996 Honda motorcycle was traveling westbound on FM 1004. As the vehicle went into a curve, the driver lost control of the motorcycle. The driver was ejected from the motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet. The driver, Henry McIntyre III (37) of Vidor, was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Michael Greer. This is an ongoing crash investigation and there are no further details to be released at this time.
