On Wednesday the Orange County Health Department closed Popeye’s on Link Ave. after receiving several complaints.
The department arrived at the longtime location and found that none of the repairs from the previous inspection had been done by the new owner, so it was shut down immediately.
Inspectors found broken or missing tiles throughout the business.
Spider webs around the drive thru window.
Damaged wall behind fryers and steady drip from ceiling onto floor. The leak covers the chicken prep area and kitchen/drive-thru.
Faucet at the handwashing sink has a steady drip.
Ceiling tiles throughout need to be cleaned or replaced.
The report said the establishment will remain closed until inside/outside repairs are completed.
