The volleyball season began Tuesday night for most of our area teams. Scores are listed below.
Bridge City beat Liberty 3-0.
For the Lady Cards, Cambree LaComb 15 assists, Presley Ducote 10 assists, Anna Kelly 16 kills, 5 aces, Makenna Knight 10 kills, 5 aces, and Kaylee Britten 9 digs, 5 assists. The JV and 9th both lost in three.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats fell to the Lumberton Lady Raiders 25-21, 18-25, 16-25, and 13-25.
Mikayla Locke led the Bobcats with 6 kills, 3 aces, and 18 assists. Haylee Spears had 7 kills, and Ava Walker added 6. Eliese Gravett had 27 digs, Sophia Marino added 16 digs, and Hannah Block added 12 digs. Addisyn Moore had 6 digs and 11 assists.
The freshmen Lady Bobcats fell in two sets 20-25 and 23-25. The JV Lady Bobcats fell in two sets 22-25 and 24-26. The varsity Lady Bobcats travel to the Silsbee tournament beginning Thursday.
