Lorinda Joyce Ray, age 58, passed away in Bridge City, Texas on July 16, 2024 surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer. She was born on October 31, 1965 in Ruston, Louisiana.
Lorinda is preceded in death by her father, Frederick Brooks Shaver; mother, Linda Miller; stepfather, BJ Miller; and her son, Jeremy Wayne Mills.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Ray of Bridge City, Texas; daughter, Haley Mills of Lumberton, Texas; brother, Brooks Shaver and his wife Joean Villarin of Staten Island, New York; and brother, Bryant Shaver of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; grandchildren, Madison Mills, Annabelle Mills, Brantley Grant, Asher Mills, and Finnley Sterling.
Lorinda was a hard worker and loved to fish, hunt, and watch Astros baseball in her spare time. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
